“Mad Men” returns tonight for its sixth season, and it appears that the sexy version of Betty Draper is back as well. Of course, as you can see from the first photo, it looks like she’s just as annoyed and unhappy as ever with her trademark scowl. But at least she looks good again.
Betty is easily the most unpleasant character on the show, but last year things got worse as she gained some serious weight due to a health problem. We have to give the makeup and special effects team some credit for making the beautiful, and skinny, January Jones look puffy and fat last year. I think she was pregnant during some of the shooting, but what we saw on screen definitely required some TV magic.
Now, based on the promo photo for Season 6 at the start of the gallery above, it looks like Betty has returned to her skinny and hot natural state. We’ve included some photos of Betty from previous seasons, as she became a sex symbol representing the hot mom of the late 50s and 60s with her cool dresses and classic hairstyle. We saved the classic lingerie photo for the end.
It will be interesting to see how this character develops, or perhaps even regresses. Her new marriage isn’t all peaches and cream, so Don can expect some more heartache from is pretty but abrasive ex.
Forbes was inspired by Angelina Jolie to ask the question of whether men are really intimidated by powerful women. This came up as Billy Bob Thornton explained why his marriage to Angelina failed, “I blew it because I didn’t think I was good enough for her.”
I’m not sure how much you can extrapolate her. Just look at the pics above – Angelina Jolie would intimidate most men. But the message is still important. As a man, without confidence you have nothing when it comes to dealing with women, especially women like Angelina.

Hopefully we’ll see her and other African American actresses get more movie roles in the future. This year Meagan will be starring in “Think Like a Man,” a new urban comedy about the dating scene that should do well at the box office.

I think everyone can agree that Jessica Alba is one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. Her smile is just amazing. She’s also an excellent actress. We’re hoping to see much more of Jessica through the years and we expect great things from her.

Paris is trying to be taken more seriously, but she’s really all about the eye candy. After all these years of acting like a party airhead, it’s hard to be looked at as a serious performer or anyone whose opinion should be taken seriously. maybe she should somehow focus on Paris hotels?

The lovely Amber Heard leads off an impressive array of beautiful celebrities at ELLE’s 18th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles.
The show featured Minka Kelly, Annie Ilonzeh and Rachael Taylor as the three new angels. Minka Kelly is beautiful and she seemed like the perfect new version of the Jaclyn Smith character, but the show didn’t have anyone to fill the blonde bombshell role occupied by Farrah Fawcett and then Cheryl Ladd.
The show was mostly filmed in the city of Miami so this is a blow to that area. The concept was a good one, and Miami Beach offered an ideal setting, but it just didn’t come together.
Minka Kelly looks like a star, so I expect to see her get many more chances to carry a series. The other two actresses did a fine job as well, but perhaps the expectations here were too high.
J. Lo is back on the market! We can imagine that tons of booty lovers are ecstatic that one of their favorites is no longer going to be tied down by marriage to Marc Anthony. We can only hope that her split gets her in the gym so she can bounce back and make the best of her assets!
