McLovin’ turns 21
Posted by admin (06/22/2010 @ 5:31 am)
It’s hard to imagine Chris Mintz-Plasse as anyone other than high school pervert extraordinaire, McLovin’. Would you believe he turned 21 this weekend? McLovin’ is officially legal.
To celebrate, Mintz-Plasse and his friends (who include singer Ryan Cabrera and actor Evan Ross, the son of Diana Ross) got together for a private dinner at TAO. As the evening approached midnight, everyone counted down to yell “Happy Birthday” as the star turned 21.
After dinner, McLovin and his friends hit up the nightclub, where Mintz-Plasse joined DJ Vice and olympian Michael Phelps in the DJ Booth for shots of Patron to mark the occasion. TAO provided the Superbad star with a birthday cake made of giant sugar beer cans.

Actress Rebecca Mader hosted a LOST finale smash at LAVO over the weekend. Though you may know her as anthropologist Charlotte Lewis, friends and partygoers got to learn a bit about her wild side. Mader danced the night away with DJ FIVE after a spread of appetizers that included chic hors d’oeuvres such as Kobe meatballs and Oreo Zeppole. LAVO also presented Rebecca Mader with that fantastic cake.
Mader also made an appearance at the Carrera Escape at TAO Beach, which was hosted by Wilmer Valderrama. Carrera Escape is meant to be an urban retreat for celebrities, sponsored by the eyewear company.
Jessica Jane Clement strips down for Lynx Rise

Jessica Jane Clement is known the world over for her stunning looks. She’s made a change, recently, going blonde for the new Lynx Rise, a body wash designed to help guys wake up and stay alert. Jessica just did a shoot called “Spot the Difference,” in which she poses with mirror images of herself (two is always better than one in this case) and challenges guys to spot the difference between the two images.
Of the shoot, Jessica had this to say: “I really enjoyed my ‘Spot the Difference’ shoot for the launch of new Lynx Rise shower gel and hope guys are focused enough to notice the changes in detail. Girls love guys who can remember dating details which is why I’m encouraging guys to stay alert if they want to pull a scorcher this summer.”
You can find Jessica Jane Clement on Facebook with Lynx Rise.
Angie Greenup hosts Scion’s ‘Reinvent the Wheels’

It only makes sense to give comedian Angie Greenup a shot at running Scion’s “Reinvent the Wheels,” a web series that challenges creative professionals to rethink what a car can be. After all, Greenup defies the female comedian stereotype with smoking hot looks to complement her sense of humor. She has previously appeared on Fearnet, E!, and SpikeTV.
Interested audiences can catch Greenup in action online, across most mobile platforms, and through Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. The series finale is set to run later this week.
Courtney Love at TAO and LAVO

In celebration of Hole’s newest album, “Nobody’s Daughter,” Courtney Love was out and about on Saturday night, hosting at Las Vegas’ TAO bistro. Love spent most of the night in a skybox, where she was presented with a cake and sat drinking sparkling water.
Around 1AM she took to the stage for an impromptu performance. Courtney made a throwback reference to MTV Unplugged and followed with “Pacific Coast Highway” and “Someone Else’s Bed,” accompanied by Mico on guitar.
Though most would hate to admit it, Love looks pretty good. It’s amazing what a night of sobriety can do.
