Forbes was inspired by Angelina Jolie to ask the question of whether men are really intimidated by powerful women. This came up as Billy Bob Thornton explained why his marriage to Angelina failed, “I blew it because I didn’t think I was good enough for her.”

I’m not sure how much you can extrapolate her. Just look at the pics above – Angelina Jolie would intimidate most men. But the message is still important. As a man, without confidence you have nothing when it comes to dealing with women, especially women like Angelina.

Hopefully we’ll see her and other African American actresses get more movie roles in the future. This year Meagan will be starring in “Think Like a Man,” a new urban comedy about the dating scene that should do well at the box office.
