Curtis basically debunks theories from the other guests that Marilyn was murdered, while explaining that she had been troubled for years and had attempted suicide in the past. He also explains that Marilyn, like most actresses of her time, basically had to sleep her way into roles and opportunities. The Hollywood casting couch was a real thing. But he also said that Marilyn held grudges for those years of “getting on her knees” while others (like him) accepted that as how things were. Curtis basically admits that he endured the same treatment.
